Heat Perming
her own hair when she already had naturally wavy hair.. enough said.
Carolin's Favourite Songs:
1. Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond
2. Mamma Mia - ABBA
3. Simply the Best - Tina Turner
Carolin is the proud owner of Oliver Hair Design since 1994 and has trained many staff in those years producing a fantastic team that stands today. Carolin grew up and became a fully qualified hairdresser in Broken Hill, New South Wales and moved to Adelaide with her family, now living nearby the salon. Carolin’s experience and expertise shines through in her work and her passion for hair is clearly obvious with being inspired everyday by the world of hair.
Name: Jessica
Position Manager/Senior Hairdresser
Started Hairdressing Career In: 2002
Worst Hair Crime Committed:
Jessica should be serving
several life sentences with her creations! Many times notes were sent home to
warn Carolin that Jessica’s hair was causing undue attention amongst students.
Jessica's Favourite Songs:
1. Eye of the tiger - Survivor
2. Sexyback - Justin Timberlake
3. Hard to Beat - HardFi
Being Carolin’s daughter, Jessica has been watching intently ever since she was little and picking up every detail of her mother’s work with following the same dedication and passion to the hairdressing industry. Thriving on traditional and modern looks, Jessica is always encouraging an array of colouring and styling that is seen on runways and magazines then adapting it to everyday hair. Jessica never likes to wear the same style twice so inspiration comes naturally when she is recommending a new look for you!
Name: Emma
Position Junior Hairdresser
Started Hairdressing Career In: 2005
Worst Hair Crime Committed:
This is just weird....Emma
used to snip pieces of her hair off and hide it in tablet bottles when she was
little....okaaaaay?!
Emma's Favourite Songs:
1. Khe Sahn - Cold Chisel
2. Wonderwall - Oasis
3. Sweet Child O'Mine - Guns n Roses
When walking into our salon, this is one of the smiling faces you will see. From restyling Barbie’s at a young age, it was everyone’s guess that Emma was going to become a hairdresser. Now giving the same concentration and dedication to ‘real’ heads of hair (with a little more experience...), Emma specialises in colour application, mens cutting and other aspects in the salon.
